The origins of Andorra la Vella Fair go back to the old farmers’ fairs and markets, when the countryfolk would come to buy food and other produce for the home ready for the harsh Pyrenean winter, when it was more difficult to travel around due to the inclement weather conditions.
In the early-1980s, a far-reaching transformation of the Fair began. These changes were consolidated in the 90s having positioned Andorra la Vella Fair amongst the leading multi-sector shows in the Pyrenean area.
The themes of Andorra la Vella Fair this year are tourism, leisure, free time and sport.
